Rejuvenated
Tired old Half Steamer Garden Chair in need of TLC also inspired a new build (see originals)
1) Removed old canvas and cleaned the frame
2) Sanded the frame back to clean wood and sealed
3) Added coat of varnish and new canvas plus cushioned head rest

English Bog/Black Oak is over 5,300 years old and excavated from marsh land around England
A comparatively rare commodity its Black & Dark Brown appearance and deep grain is truly unique.
1) Mirror is 87cm by 67cm finished with natural polish only 3 of these will be made
2) The Half Steamer Chair is part of a set that will include another chair, 2 small foot stools and a drinks table to complete a unique patio set. This will be a one off Bespoke set.

This commission was for a Bureau that fits with modern décor and lifestyle. The Brown Bureau is far from being worn out, but like so much older furniture it is no longer suitable in the 21st century.
1. The Bureau was stripped back and the old leather was removed along with the internal compartment
2. The whole item was resprayed in a flat white 2 pack hard wearing paint and new knobs were fitted.
3. The inside had 2 drawers replaced a hole put in the back to allow for the cables of a Laptop
